Christopher didn’t have the heart to tell him that the whole thing had been Catherine’s idea. She incited the revolution. Christopher shook his head and entered the vehicle they had prepared for him, riding away to his doom.

The Denver family returned to Lionheart and solved the insurrection, restoring peace and order to the world above and the underworld. A city finally regained its peace.

There was one problem though: Giselle was missing. They searched and turned the whole city upside down but they didn’t find her. The city may have just regained its peace but another uprising would have occurred if she wasn’t found. 

The Cheadles blamed the Denvers but it soon ended with a written note from Giselle, delivered to their mail. 

Everyone thought it was safe until Oscar escaped from prison and helped Catherine escape from the facility she was being held in. 

It now begs the question; where is Giselle and what is this going to mean for A city? 

The tale continues in another book, one that takes us back to the past to trace the present, Fleeting Days.
